"Global Economic Activity - China's Manufacturing - December 2023

The NBS Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), released by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) and China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), is a leading indicator gauging business activity in China's manufacturing sector.

The production sub-index softened further for the 3rd month but remained in expansionary zone (50.2 vs. 50.7 in Nov).

New orders (48.7), employment (47.9) and raw material inventory (47.7) all eased from last month."
